I have always been inspired by Rasmi Al Jabri, a businessman from my home town of Basra who as well as championing Iraqi business, also celebrated ties with international partners and on this occasion the United Kingdom. 

This year I was humbled to have received the award which, whilst a great honour and pleasure, also comes with a responsibility and commitment to the further development to the people of Iraq. Through continued investment and successfully providing fertilizers to the Iraqi market I plan to use this award as an opportunity to further grow the industry, build relationships with UK business and help introduce other Iraqi business to the ever increasingly outward looking British global market.
