Wrapping up 2023

Although 2023 was a challenging year across the globe, AAA Holdings have managed to successfully navigate difficult terrain and take advantage of new opportunities, whilst continuing to be part of a solution to the growing concern of universal food distribution.

No matter how large a job can be, it is my family that inspires me to make life better for Iraqis and future generations of children across the world. Which is why I was so proud to see my eldest son start his engineering degree at Reading University, continuing the Selman family’s legacy.

Residing in Sunningdale, UK, has been a remarkable journey for our family. We’ve been embraced by the local community, creating a sense of deep connection and belonging. The unique charm of Sunningdale, with its serene landscapes and quaint weather, has become a cherished aspect of our daily lives.
The highlight however came this year when I was honoured to be appointed by Baroness Nicholsen to lead the committee on sustainable agriculture and artificial intelligence in the Iraqi-British business council.

More of this to come in 2024, however the partnership has offered both countries fantastic opportunities to combine knowledge and expertise in a positive example of a balanced trading relationship that enriches the people of both states.

My ambition for the year ahead is to bring modern technology and further develop the huge potential of artificial intelligence to Iraq. I want to be part of the drive for sustainable agriculture and help diversify the countries economy and make it a leader in sustainable agriculture.

WIshing you all a happy and prosperous 2024.
